Minitube’s accounts will report figures that give an accurate and understandable picture of our business. All purchases, collaborations and agreements shall be characterized by transparent and subsequently visible processes. Price cooperation or other competitive activities are illegal and shall not occur. Minitube values competition on equal terms. We will avoid conflicts of interest which may have an adverse impact on business relations. Corruption and briberyĪll forms of corruption and bribery are unacceptable – both with us and at our suppliers and partners. We shall support and respect international human rights and never violate them in our operations or through our suppliers. We will only assign non-hazardous work to minor persons under the age of 18. We will only hire full-time workers who are at least 16 years of age and only if they have reached the end of compulsory schooling prescribed in the respective country in countries which fall within the exception to developing nations under ILO convention 138, the minimum age may be reduced to 14 for temporary work, such as school holidays. We adhere to the maximum working times set by law in each relevant country. We do not tolerate behavior (including gestures, language and physical conduct) that is sexual, subjects people to duress, or is threatening, abusive or exploitative. We do not tolerate unacceptable treatment of staff members, by such things as psychological mistreatment, sexual or personal abuse or discrimination. We will not employ anyone against his or her will or compel him or her to work. We promote equal opportunity and equal treatment for our staff members irrespective of their skin colour, race, nationality, social background, disability, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs, or gender or age. Minitube has entered into a collective agreement with the union IF Metall. Through good cooperation with trade unions and safety representatives, we ensure a safe and good workplace for everyone. Everyone who works at Minitube is entitled to a contractual salary in accordance with national law and agreements. Workers’ rightsĮveryone who works at Minitube and our suppliers should have freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. We continuously make risk assessment to our workplace and involve our staff in improving the work environment. To achieve this, all employees must pay attention to situations that may be dangerous and report this. No employee should have to be injured either physically or mentally in the workplace. We will prioritize the health and safety of our employees in everything we do.
